This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData, and — when you are signed in to iCloud — synced to your private CloudKit database so it appears on your other devices. The developer has no access to this private database. There is no third-party backend.
The app requests "While Using the App" location only. Your location is used on your device to tell you when you are within ~500m of a park you have not collected yet. The coordinate where you collect a park is saved with that collection record (so your map of memories is accurate). Your location is never sent to the developer or any third party.
Apple may provide the developer with aggregate, anonymized App Store metrics (e.g. number of downloads). This is handled by Apple under their terms and contains no information that identifies you. You can opt out via Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your device.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Because your data is held in your own iCloud account and never reaches us, you remain in control of it at all times. You may access, export, or erase it using the steps above. For questions, contact [email protected].
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
